Question by Bandito: How to recover deleted photos/videos from a digital camera (canon)?
I accidently deleted pictures on my canon digital camera, and i know i need cardrecovery or other photo recovery tools to install. But then i dunno how. I have installed the cardrecovery software and it says first connect your camera or the memory card to your computer. ” I did that”. Then i need to know what the drive letter is? I have no clue about this. I think it must be D:.
Can someone help me by telling me step by step how i can get my precious fotos back. For free if possible.
Thanks

Well so far it sounds like you’re doing the correct thing. I’d suggest getting someone who knows computers to take a look for you. That person will know right away what drive it is. It’s probably called “removable drive” by Windows… and yes, unless you have other attached drives like an external hard drive or external burner, it will probably be D:\ Once you find that just follow the programs instructions.
